During the period following the general election and the beginning of the legislative session, legislators may pre-file bills. These bills are assigned a number, but no further action can be scheduled before the session.

HB190 by Walle. Authorizes Harris County to adopt noise regulations in the unincorporated area.
HB191 by Walle. Requires automobile salvage yards in unincorporated area of Harris County to be at least 600 feet from church, school or residence.
HB214 by Gallego. Authorizes county to charge a fee for filing an application for plat revision.
HB217 by Gallego. Authorizes Val Verde County to collect additional motor vehicle registration fee.
HB230 by Phillips. Authorizes county to regulate private halfway houses.
HB296 by Berman/SB126 by Patrick. Requires peace officer to determine immigration status.
HB317 by Cook/SB137 by Wentworth. Authorizes county to require buffer zones after referendum.
HB330 by Guillen. Authorizes county under 110,000 to dissolve bail bond board.
SB59 by Zaffirini. Authorizes Ethics Commission to contract with county to maintain reports of contributions and expenditures.
SB134 by Wentworth. Authorizes county to prohibit sale, use, or possession of fireworks in unincorporated area after referendum.
SB136 by Wentworth. Authorizes county to require bond for all subdivision improvements, including water and sewer, establish setbacks for all lots, and increase water storage requirements.
