The 73rd Annual South Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association Conference June 18-21 opened and closed with a consistent theme: Unity.
During the Opening General Session the first several speakers alluded to the commonality among the commissioners courts represented by some 381 officials in attendance at the Omni Bayfront in Corpus Christi.
Nueces County Judge Loyd Neal encouraged officials to help one another, reminding them “that we’re all in this thing together.”
State Association President and Trinity County Judge Mark Evans praised the audience for jointly engaging in the recently adjourned legislative session.
