Educating Public Key Role of County Commissioner

It is my pleasure to write and thank the membership for electing me second vice president of the County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas. I also appreciate the confidence the voters of McLennan County have put in me for the last 21 years.
As I look out my window at the 105-year-old McLennan County Courthouse, I think how far our county government has come and what direction it is heading. I am amazed at what our previous commissioners courts had to go through. Most citizens think all we do is meet on Tuesdays, work on a few roads, and go home for the week
