Motivational speaker Jim Whitt of Purpose Unlimited will speak on Transforming Your World during the Opening Session of the 2022 North & East Association Conference in Denton. Conference classes will take place July 11-14 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center.
Back again this year, the Association will offer early bird sessions on Monday morning, July 11, to include four hours of administrative training for Commissioners Court members.
Continuing Education
Approval has been granted for 13 continuing education hours for County Commissioners during the regular conference sessions and four additional continuing education hours for the early bird session.
Four judicial education credit hours for Judges have been approved.
The overall agenda includes nine hours of credit towards Commissioners Court Advanced Curriculum Certification.
The V.G. Young Institute of County Government, a part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, is the education program co-sponsor.
Meeting Registration and Hotel Information
The conference registration fee for county officials is $225 up through June 10, and $250 after June 10. Special Events
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the Exhibitor Appreciation Reception on Monday evening and Host Court Night sponsored by Denton County on Wednesday evening. Activities for spouses and children will be arranged for Tuesday and Wednesday (see page?). Wednesday will also feature the President’s Luncheon and Installation of Officers and afternoon tournaments including 42, golf, and a sporting clay shoot.
