Jim “Moose” Daniel, age 77, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Aug. 16, 2025, in Muleshoe. He was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Gorman, Texas, to R.J. and Margie Fae (Wright) Daniel. He married Lynn Miller in Quanah, Texas, on Oct. 20, 1973.

Known for his voice, Jim announced Muleshoe Mules football games and served as announcer for the Bailey County Stock Show. Outside of work and service, he enjoyed roping, rodeo, and spending time with his horses.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his wife, Lynn; his three sons, Chance Daniel and wife Lauran of Anton, Texas, Colby Daniel of Muleshoe, Texas, and Kutter Thomas of Muleshoe and his two daughters, Stephanie Rumsey and husband Ray of McKinney, Texas, and Summer Jones and husband Jake of Granbury, Texas.
