Conference Close-Up: 91st Annual West Texas CJCA Conference

August 18-21 │ McNease Convention Center │ San Angelo – Tom Green County

The West Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association will convene at the McNease Convention Center in Tom Green County Aug. 18-21 for the Association’s 91st Annual Conference. The Association will offer early bird sessions beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Continuing Education

Approval has been granted for 14 continuing education hours for County Commissioners during the regular conference sessions and four additional continuing education hours for the early bird session.

Four judicial education credit hours for Judges have been approved.

The V.G. Young Institute of County Government, a part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, is the education program co-sponsor.

Commissioners court advanced curriculum

This program includes 11 hours of credit towards CCAC Certification.

Meeting Registration and Other important Information

The conference registration fee for county officials is $200 up through July 27 and $225 after July 27. The online registration deadline is Aug. 11. Following that date, please register onsite at the conference.

The most convenient way to register for the conference is online at www.county.org. Click on Calendar of Events at the top right, and scroll down to the 91st Annual West Texas Conference.
