Ellis County communications director Diana Buckley has been appointed the Region III director for the National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO).
“Diana has always been committed to getting information out to the public, letting citizens know what their government is doing,” said Ellis County Judge Chad Adams. “This organization supports that goal.”
“I’m excited!” Buckley said. “I think it is a great opportunity, and I’m honored to be invited to serve.”
Buckley added that her first official responsibility in the role is to plan a short training conference to be held in Waxahachie in early December.
