Danny E. Craig Sr. died Oct. 29, 2025, at the age of 63. He served as a Gregg County Commissioner from 1999 to 2006 and was re-elected in 2022. He was also a former county sheriff’s deputy.
Danny owned Craig Funeral Home in Longview and was the pastor of Woodland Hill Church of Christ.
