The newly restored Historic Comal County Courthouse in downtown New Braunfels has been open to the public daily since county commissioners moved into this beautiful landmark building in the middle of March.
The Comal County Information Technology Department is pleased to announce the creation of a new feature on the County’s website, a virtual “Historic Courthouse Tour” at
www.mycomalcounty.com/tour.htm
The tour takes the viewer around the outside of the meticulously restored, 114-year-old building and through all three floors where Comal County commissioners and staff have their offices. The photographs show close-up details of the original décor of the first floor county courtroom, the second floor commissioners courtroom, and the third floor balcony. Views of all rooms in the courthouse can be seen as they are today.
