The Tobacco Settlement Permanent Trust Account Investment Advisory Committee approved $50 million for the year 2013 tobacco settlement distribution, the same as the previous year’s amount. The Coryell County Courthouse was designed by W.C. Dodson in a Beaux-Arts style with Romanesque details. The county capitol, fashioned of limestone and sandstone, was erected in 1897.
