One-button E-Filing – Fully Integrated E-Filing

In January 2014, Texas became the nation’s largest state to implement a mandatory electronic court E-Filing system aimed at digitizing court filings. In just over two and one-half years, the landscape of Texas court filing has changed dramatically. In the days following the announcement of the mandate, an LGS Software Engineering Team was formed with the charter of establishing our company as the premier CMS (Case Management Solution) fully and completely integrated with eFileTexas.gov.

Today, all LGS customers are fully integrated using our one-button electronic case filing solutions, the one exception being new customers who must go through a small integration testing and certification process. LGS E-Filing Solutions is designed to automatically monitor eFileTexas.gov for new filings but also allows inquiries of historical case data for attorneys wishing to file into their existing cases, making LGS the only fully implemented, truly integrated eFileTexas.gov solutions in Texas.

LGS customers enjoy the benefit of our streamlined transition tools that take advantage of virtualized cloud technology which comprises the core of our solutions. The LGS core E-Filing architecture allows county customers to easily transition from the mandatory test environment to their full-production environment with absolutely no intervention by them.

But the true value to today’s new e-government is the power of the tools which streamlines the workflow in the court clerks’ offices. Whether it is filing a civil case in a county or district court, a probate case, or the latest addition, Criminal E-Filing, the process is the same:  Accept the case, and the system will file the new case, create a receipt, file the PDF images in the case, and create any and all associated case events…all automatically. With LGS, one-button case E-Filing is a reality.

E-Filing has only scratched the surface of where we can go in the future.  The LGS e-Docket Solution is changing the way Judges work on the bench, while the whole spectrum of e-government has now been cast creating new opportunities for courts, clerks and local government operations throughout Texas.

LGS and eFileTexas.gov: An integrated combination for a streamlined tomorrow, today.   Interested in joining the e-Wave? Call us today at 1-877-481-4111 for more information.
